 Finally, the last week of being a teacher. It was examination week, so not much happened the previous week! It has been an emotional and anxious week for both students and teachers, especially for Syahman and me as we are wrapping up our practicum at the same time. Every emotion—laughing, sad, and exhausted—was preserved as a memory. We are almost at the end of our time together, so we are enjoying our final moments with the students. In addition to gaining insight into the role of a teacher, we will express our gratitude to the students since they have been our greatest support system through to the very end of our tenure. I spent the last week observing a class that I instruct.  I informed them at the end of each paper that Wednesday would be my last day at the school. Along with the present, I received numerous letters from the student.  Week 13 is marked as "Nilam" week, during which students are expected to complete additional readings in order to complete their nilam book and earn points for the overall content. It is also used to assess students who read more than those who don't. I urge the student I worked with in class to complete the assignment that was assigned that week. I gave them writing prompts for their nilam books during my lesson, asking them to write about books they enjoy, whether they are fiction or comic books. Apart from that, the students were instructed to participate in the "no smoking" poster competition for their second year of physical education, and I helped my class create the best poster so they could win the entire program. Some of the works truly amazed me and exceeded my expectations. In addition, I asked them to ask their elder siblings and parents for assistance. Week 12 is 'Pendidikan Jasmani' week, meaning that all students and teachers are required to participate in sports. The lesson was completed prior to the break.They are asked to play a game of handball and netball after stuffing their faces with food and beverages. Regarding the teacher, we are required to play the renowned volleyball game as a team of six. It was the eagerly anticipated annual event at the school. We all enjoy the game as much as the students do, and I was thrilled to play with them. The lesson was straightforward and easy to understand, and because it was a sport, the students were exposed to a more laid-back atmosphere throughout the week. It will do it as for week 12 from here. 

 This week, I made another observation, this time about my superiors. Before the lesson began, my mentor and the supervisors had a meeting. I couldn't help but notice that not everything that was said about our attitude during the conference was entirely accurate. It was a helpful reminder that misconceptions do happen and that reality frequently deviates from our expectations. On the other hand, my observation went smoothly. At first, I was worried because the students were particularly agitated and disruptive. I worried that this would obstruct the observation. However, I was committed to managing the class effectively, and I'm glad to report that I was successful. I was pleased with my performance and my grades when I left the observation. I'd like to express my gratitude to my supervisor for her support and encouragement.  For week 10, , we also received "SUKANEKA" and "SUKAN TAHUNAN". Excitement was in the air this week as our school got ready for Thursday's "Sukaneka" event. I was thrilled to see how much excitement and energy it would bring to our school because it's usually a fantastic and colorful event. As the week went on, we started organizing for "Sukaneka." Although I was in charge of setting up the equipment, it was encouraging to see how all of the students worked together to make the event a success. The students were buzzing with excitement, especially the younger ones from the first, second, and third grades who will be taking part in the games. "Sukaneka" happened early on Thursday and was a whole enjoyable! Seeing the younger students participate with such enthusiasm warmed my heart.  There was a lot of nervousness and excitement this week. During "Majlis Pelancaran Bulan Pendidikan Jasmani," which takes place on the first day of the week, I couldn't help but be entertained by the creative tricks that the instructors and students came up with. It gave our routine a fresh perspective. This week was significant for yet another reason, too. This week in my teaching practicum was jam-packed with challenges and opportunities for introspection. One of the main things that happened on Wednesday was my mentor's observation of me. For me, the observation was crucial, but I wasn't sure if it went well or not.My first observation came from my mentor. I thought I had given it my all because I had put a lot of effort into preparing my lecture. However, I couldn't help but feel let down when I got my grades and remarks. It was a humble experience that made me realize that there's always room for improvement and growth on the part of teachers. Over t

 Greetings, eighth week! There were a lot of fascinating things going on this week. Everything began when Milo came to visit and taught our students a valuable lesson about recycling. Seeing such initiatives spread to the younger generation is wonderful. Since I learned a lot too, I'm sure they did as well. The week's high point was definitely Hari Sukan Negara, which united everyone in the spirit of sports and camaraderie. It was good to see instructors and students taking part in volleyball and sukaneka. I enjoy how strongly a feeling of community and unity is fostered by moments such as these. It doesn't seem like there are any major obstacles in the way of my socialization with other teachers. I finally introduced a new topic to the students this week in my English lesson, and I focused on teaching them the proper usage of the words "can" and "can't."  Our school is celebrating "Minggu Dakwah" (Dakwah Week) this week, which is a time for spiritual and religious activities. We began the week with a warm and welcome celebration of "Maulidur Rasul" (the Prophet Muhammad's birthday). It was a lovely reminder of the Prophet's teachings and values. The "Minggu Dakwah" activities were both educational and spiritually uplifting. We had a "ceramah" (lecture) about Prophet Muhammad's life and teachings. It's amazing to see how eager the students are to learn about and adopt the Prophet's values of love, peace, and compassion. In addition, I've been working hard to improve my teaching skills. I've successfully used the set induction and closure in my classes. This has improved the framework of my teaching and, in my opinion, has made for a more engaging learning experience for the students.  Week 6 began similarly to any other week. I've established a routine, but each day brings new opportunities for growth and learning. Today, I began teaching the students about bodily components. This week, I found myself frequently seeking advice and guidance from my mentor. I'm determined to keep improving my teaching skills and connecting with children. My mentor's suggestions and critiques were invaluable, and I am grateful for her assistance. Teaching children about the human body can be challenging, but it can also be extremely enjoyable. Today's lesson was fascinating, and the students appeared to be genuinely interested in learning about their own bodies. This week appeared to be a week of growth and reflection. As I continue to solicit feedback and refine my teaching strategies, I notice small but significant improvements in my teaching abilities.  As the fifth week began, I noticed a pleasant pattern in my classroom. Students have consistently provided positive feedback and offered assistance, creating an inspiring environment for teaching. As a teacher, I'm starting to feel more at ease. The children's active participation and support are making a significant difference. Today's class was fantastic, and it's clear that we're bonding intellectually and emotionally.  The class exercise today went very well. The students' participation and teamwork benefited everyone. I'm starting to enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge with them. The frequency of relief classes has been a consistent issue this week. Due to a shortage of teachers on medical leave, I've had to fill in for a number of classes. While it has been difficult, it has also given me the opportunity to gain more experience in a variety of subjects and with a wide range of age groups.  I was happy to learn at the beginning of the week that I had received my own schedule for my teaching duties. It was my responsibility to instruct classes 2AM and 1AM. . I took some time to get to know each student's name and background so that I could communicate with them individually.  After deciding on my students and setting up my timetable, I started working on lesson plans. Acknowledging that an organized approach was important for proficient instruction, I seek advice from my mentor. Their opinions and expertise were very helpful to me as I improved my strategy and tailored my classes to each student's unique needs. Apart from devising lesson plans, I focused on creating instructional resources that would enhance my students' engagement and participation in the learning process.  Week three is now underway. I just know that I will be teaching 2AM; I have not yet received a specific timetable or timeline for teaching in class. I was given a lot of substitute lessons to teach this week in place of absent teachers. According to what I've observed, the evening session school will experience a teacher shortage every day, requiring me to fill in for them for up to three hours each time.        I am aware of my mentor. I went over to her and asked her about the subjects she had taught and the class she was teaching. It might provide a more seamless lecture for my class. Since I was given a lot of relief classes, I took a lot of classes from year one to year three. Meeting with all teachers,for camping and other activities. There are many students at this school; on average, there are eight classes, each with more than thirty students. It might take me some time to remember them all since, to be honest, I can't remember all of their names.       All in all, th

Week 1 Welcome to my Practicum Teaching Blog. Assalamualaikum and a very good day to everyone who's reading. This is my Practicum Teaching Blog and this is the story throughout the teaching period of 14 weeks. I was assigned to do a practicum by my university which is UNIVERSITI POLY-TECH MALAYSIA (UPTM). Starting from 23 August to 29 November 2023. The school that I choose to go is not this school, but I think it's not a bad idea to go with the flow.  I have also a group of friends that went to the same school. They are Syahman,Nurin,Intan,Qistina and Nadira. So, there is 6 of us doing practicum at the school. We all never really know each other previously except for Syahman, which used to be my classmate from the previous semester.In the first week, we didn't really do much at the school as they were having the merdeka celebration on the second day.    This is the picture of 6 us with GPK, Encik Omar.
