Week 14

Finally, the last week of being a teacher.

It was examination week, so not much happened the previous week! It has been an emotional and anxious week for both students and teachers, especially for Syahman and me as we are wrapping up our practicum at the same time. Every emotion—laughing, sad, and exhausted—was preserved as a memory. We are almost at the end of our time together, so we are enjoying our final moments with the students. In addition to gaining insight into the role of a teacher, we will express our gratitude to the students since they have been our greatest support system through to the very end of our tenure. I spent the last week observing a class that I instruct.

I informed them at the end of each paper that Wednesday would be my last day at the school. Along with the present, I received numerous letters from the student. During my final class on Wednesday, I advised all of my students to stay safe and to make a commitment to me to continue learning English because it will be a valuable skill for them after school. It's a useful skill to have until they are old enough to work. I told them that I did it all for their benefit and I apologized to each and every one of them if I ever offended them.

That's all I have to say. I would like to thank all of my friends and the teachers at the school; it's a pleasure to know them all.I was incredibly appreciative of them and wished them luck in everything they did going forward. I hope that all of my students will remember me as the best English teacher they ever had. With much love. All I have to say to them is love. I will conclude my stay at SKTT with that. Being there was a very pleasant time in life.
